Julio and Benjamin from The General were great. Hard workers and experienced, getting our AC unit and furnace installed smoothly. The whole team works well with Louie our service rep coming in to answer questions and help as well. Very happy with their work.
Had an old water heater replaced. Old water heater just stopped working. General Plumbing answered my call immediately and had a plumber out by the afternoon to diagnose the issue. They managed to get the old heater working but we all agreed it was time for a new heater. Within a couple of days they returned and replaced the old heater. Ricardo and crew were efficient and professional. They made sure the installation was to city code (we will have inspected shortly). They answered all our questions. Gave us tips on proper care and maintenance. For any plumbing emergency or need, give them a call.
Our service was rescheduled twice due tocontractor work load, but the service callwent well and was handled very promptlyand professionally by our service tech.
We had to replace our HVAC system and the General is the contractor Costco uses. We were very happy with our decision, they are professional and knowledgeable. Every aspect was top notch. Would recommend to anyone. We had our mandatory inspection by the State and were told our new system met and exceeded all requirements as to installation and equipment. Very happy.

In my case, replacement of the entire air conditioning and heating system was the best option. Rumor has it that I could’ve received the same job for less cost had I investigated other companies. As it is, the crew that handled this installation did a good job, were polite, and clean, and I appreciate the service. I may have paid more than I needed to, but I was happy with the work. They also did what they said they were going do in a very timely manner (no delays). The company included parts that were not anticipated at no additional cost. (They gave me a quote and there was no add on.)
I have only used General for my HVAC needs. I enjoy the friendliness and professional of the office and service staff. In particular the outstanding services of Ivan Lopez. Having access to Mr. Lopez keeps me coming back!!!
It’s rare these days to have a technician take the time to explain everything they are doing, and why they are doing it. It always feels good to learn something new. Definitely will call General again when something else breaks.
Anthony did a fantastic job with our repairs and maintenance. He could not have been nicer, more polite, and professional, explained what was needed and recommended in future. We will definitely request him specifically for future work at our home!
